I removed the existing thin warped flake
board workbench top and replaced it with solid 5/8" plywood which would support her heavy tool box and make a nice smooth
work surface.
Tool
hooks along one wall allowed for off-the-floor storage of all her brooms, mops and yard tools.
This job took three days. My client took time off to work with me. The first thing we did was remove everything
from the garage - emptying all bags and boxes are we went along. We got rid of all the bags and boxes, using new
clear tubs for storage. We re-used her existing shelving. At the back of the garage over the stairs I built a
new shelving system which allowed for long, deep bins to be stored - easily accessible to her work area. We
added wall hooks for tools and carts and a wall shelf for smaller items.
